I cannot believe how close it is to Christmas now.  I'm planning at least two if not three or four more big listing blocks before the holiday arrives.  We are shipping 3 times a week as the holiday approaches.

It's time to get the Christmas tree out of the basement and start wrapping presents.  Hope your holidays are as stress-free as possible.

It looks like we'll have beautiful sunlight today.  A good day for photography.  I'm planning to load some listings in Turbolister then get shooting.

My husband's factory is sending workers home early today -- including my husband.  It's just another symptom of Michigan's poor economy.  We do have to find creative ways to make ends meet.

I'm glad I have merchandise on hand to sell.

Why "ourtreasurehunt"?  Oh, boy.  It's a long story.  Once upon a time, I specialized in selling vintage and NWT clothing on eBay.  Developed an ID with over 2000 feedback!

But due to an unsafe domestic situation, I had to move quickly.  Though I was able to ship my winner's items, many of my shipments were seriously delayed do to this emergency.  So I was dinged with several negatives.

A couple of years ago, eBay allowed seller's to set up another ID.  So I started over.  And started over much slower.  eBay goes through a lot of changes.  Sometimes these changes can be very hard on both buyer and seller.

Where did the "our" come from?  In the beginning, I was going to sell with my sister-in-law.  But in the end, we could not coordinate.  Then my son was helping me shop.  I called him my "color consultant."  Even at the age of four, he showed signs of having extremely good taste.

Now I am working with my mother on both my website and hers ("our" website actually.)  She has started her paper bead jewelry business under the name of Paper Moon Beads.  Honestly, I didn't take her seriously when she first told me, but I have since realized she is on to something wonderful.

The necklaces are light-weight and clasp-free, making them perfect for seniors -- or anyone really that has motor skill challenges.  They are beautiful works of art with a history going back to Victorian times.  And I get the fun job of naming these beauties!

Where did "treasure hunt" come from?  Obvious!  Every time I go shopping, I am looking for a treasure.  Something out of the ordinary.  Something dazzling.  And treasure hunting can be so much fun.

Despite the ups and downs, we always come back to eBay.  It may be a love/hate relationship, but it sure has been a long one.  Longer than many of my romantic relationships.

Until this year.  Met a lovely man on Valentine's Day, married him on Memorial Day, and now we have wonderful plans to live happily ever after.

At this time, I am working from home.  I'm really a Jane of all trades.  I can take care of children, build websites, train people, clean homes, sell on eBay, and on and on.

However, my husband loves eBay.  He loves buying and selling here.  So he is ultra supportive of my selling here too.  He is helpful and loving and even goes treasure hunting with me.  He has joined our "our."

To that end, I am starting to work on eBay full-time instead of part-time.  While he is at work, I am here, editing pictures, cleaning stock, sticking my tongue out at Turbo Lister.  (If you are a seller, I feel your pain.)

Yet it can be fun.  I cannot deny that selling on eBay can be a blast.  If you love shopping...  whoo-hoo... you'll REALLY love shopping to sell on eBay.

I do have plans to add selling tips to my website.  But I can only accomplish what time permits.  And now it's time for the arduous task of uploading photos.
