In the past couple of days, we have added a few new pages to the ePalmetto store, in order to better serve our customers.  First, we created a data collectors page so that buyers can better understand the types of data collectors that we sell in addition to the software abbreviations for the products.  We also added what will be an ongoing frequently asked questions page for data collector support.  Second, you'll notice a brand new page for total stations with terrific information on the differences in Sokkia models and distinctions between product types.  This page will also be an ongoing project.  Below you will notice a few new buttons that I am in the process of adding to our pages, which link to various other Palmetto Equipment locations on the web.  Feel free to socially network yourself with us.  These buttons will take you not only to the pages mentioned above, but also to our Youtube channel, our newly designed information website and of course the almighty Land Surveyors United social network exclusively for workers in the industry.If you have any questions or comments whatsoever, feel free to contact us.  We look forward to your business.

Today, while cruising the message boards on POB Online I was looking into the types of feedback that surveyors having been leaving regarding the Sokkia SRX.   We've discussed the SRX before on the Palmetto Blog and we'd like to hear what you guys have to say about it.  But First, let's look at a a bit of commentary that others have reported from the field (via these screenshots).You can't argue with the price, when you consider the time and man power that it can save you.I believe this one speaks for itself.The point in delivering this post is to express that I really can't find any negative feedback out there on the net regarding the SRX.  In fact, the only bad things that I've heard have come from those who haven't had (or taken) the time to learn the vast amount of functions, bells and whistles that it comes with.  True-new technology isn't always the easiest to grasp and never in one pass.  We are currently putting together some homemade demonstration videos for a variety of total stations that we have available and they will be posted on the blog for you to utilize very shortly.  If you have any requests, feel free to leave them as a comment below and don't forget to subscribe to our RSS feed if you haven't already.
