Archive - December 2007 Negative feedbackPosted Dec-07-07 11:11:49 PST Updated Dec-07-07 11:13:21 PST I just wanted to leave a note for whomever might care. My husband and I moved and changed banks while doing transactions on ebay. We didn't realize that we would have a problem paying immediately due to having our account verified. It took us a couple days to make payment on 2 purchases. In both cases we alerted the seller to our difficulty immediately and they were both understanding. The problem occurred when one of the sellers would not accept a rural route address as a legitimate address. Hello! People do live in the countryside and have rural route addresses and they still do get UPS. After much communication back and forth and becoming more and more frustrated, we agreed on sending the package to a ups store where I had to pay an extra $10 to pick it up. The delay in sending was weeks due to communicating back and forth about the address. We filed a neutral feedback and he retaliated by filing a negative to us. The other seller was understanding about taking a couple of days to pay due to the bank change. We paid and waited, no response, emailed him repeatedly, no response. He no longer had any listings on ebay. We thought we had been ripped off so we filed a complaint. He comes back, emailed us that he was so confused sorting out this mess, claims that he sent us an email about being away (we received all emails from him EXCEPT that one.) We withdrew our complaint, apologized and then gave neutral feedback about the experience. So he filed a negative feedback to us. The first seller now wants to withdraw both feedbacks and said he left it for the wrong person. The second wanted us to withdraw the complaint and promise positive feedback. How can you tell who is a good ebayer with this type of manipulating going on.? |
