I made a purchase on 4/20/08 from an ebay store. Paid with paypal immediately. Never recieved item or refund. Seller would not communicate.  Tried to file a claim with ebay but was then directed to paypal.  Filed the claim, escalated the claim.  Claim was to end 5/29/08.  Seller was still a registered user last night.  Today they are not. What happens now? Do I just have to suck this up as a bad ebay experience?

We went for a short drive to French Lick yesterday for lunch. Stopped in some shops but passed up the casino. It was a sunny beautiful day. When we got home I was making my way to our kitchen door when there it was! Ewww.....this big ugly ewww....SNAKE! I was in reverse before hubby knew what was going on. lol! The snake was going under my steps.  Hubby said it was a harmless black snake. How can it be harmless when my heart is beating so fast? Finally after a bit the snake went all the way under the steps. I had hubby to open the door and I ran like hell up those steps to get inside. I haven't been back out that door yet. I just know it is there still....probably it's whole family too. EWWWW! I got to go out there sometime......just not quite ready yet! lol

I took the electric blanket off the bed today to wash and put away for next winter.  I have unplugged and washed it several times over the last few months. This time though I was gathering up the cord that runs under the bed and thermostat too for storing away once the blanket was finished. I was shocked to see the electric cord had wires exposed.  It was not brittle, chewed, burned, pinched or cut.  It just looked like the plastic coating was separating from the electrical wire. When I think about what could have happened I feel really lucky. I have now thrown it away.  Even as scary as that was I find I will now need a new electric blanket for next winter. I have even gave thought to an electric mattress pad although I have never had one. Which one do you like better and why? Hmmmm.....
