Question...Will I just have to suck it up?

I made a purchase on 4/20/08 from an ebay store. Paid with paypal immediately. Never recieved item or refund. Seller would not communicate.  Tried to file a claim with ebay but was then directed to paypal.  Filed the claim, escalated the claim.  Claim was to end 5/29/08.  Seller was still a registered user last night.  Today they are not. What happens now? Do I just have to suck this up as a bad ebay experience?

I kept a watch on the seller's feed back while I was waiting. She screwed a lot of people.

I just had a npb that is no longer registered. Ebay granted my fvf. You should be able to get you refund after 8 days after claim was filed. That is unless ebay has changed that too. Good luck!

I am sorry that you had this bad experience.

Unfortunately, you may not get your money back. If the seller is no longer registered and they have no funds available, it may be a long time, if ever, before you receive your money back. If your funds came from a credit card, I suggest contacting your credit card company right away to let them know that you never received your merchandise. There are time restrictions, so you need to do this right away.

Sorry, but what victorian rose says is unfortunately true. I lost 49 dollars that way before. Seller had no funds in their paypal and no longer registered. I was out of my money. Hope you get yours back. Good luck

hi maxwell! Sorry to hear you had it to happen too. I didn't lose that much but it just makes me mad. Why does paypal go on and on about how damn safe they are when the AINT?!?!
