One of my newest creations of strange kitty breeds is the Watermelon Kitty... normally you'd not see them hanging around much in January, but this balmy weather has them discombobulated.... Here is a current listing featuring a trio of these unusual creatures...this listing ends on January 7th. But the incredibly warm weather we have been having here in the mid Hudson Valley is a temptation to get outside.... 50s instead of teens.. at the rate we're going the grass is going to have to be mowed soon!So the first painting to be finished in 2007 is a comissioned portrait of a Shar-Pei mother and daughter, a "peinting" in watercolor on 300-lb Fabriano hot-press watercolor paper. At the gracious permission of their owner, I will be offering prints of this in my eBay store in the near future.
