Superchips Announces All-New Fuel Economy Programmer

Superchips, Inc. proudly announces the all-new Mileage XS fuel economy programmer.

"We listened to the requests from our customers and are bringing to market what we feel is a best-in-class fuel economy programmer," states Superchips Division President Tom Bennett. "The biggest differences between the Mileage XS and other competitive products in the market are we engineer calibrations that are specifically engineered for fuel economy and we scientifically verify the results. This is not a recycled solution nor a campaign based on vague testimonials."

Superchips will begin taking orders late July for the Mileage XS programmer with the first units expected to ship in early August. The first applications in market will be the GM 5.3L truck/SUV engine and the Ford 6.0L diesel truck engine. Early field tests indicate that customers can expect up to 15% MPG gain depending on the vehicle and engine. Price is to be determined; however, it will be slotted between the Tirepaq and Flashpaq product families. Current Superchips customers will be able to download the new economy calibrations directly from Superchips. "In such a tough economy we wanted to make sure we reached out to our current customers with a help against high pump prices." Superchips will also make available, where applicable, calibrations to run lower octane gas on vehicles that require 91 octane saving customers more money at the pump.
