MORE ABOUT THE DIFFERENT EBOOK SOFTWARE COMPILERSPosted Oct-12-06 00:42:20 PDT WHY DO I OFFER MORE THAN A FEW EBOOK SOFTWARE COMPILERS IN MY PRODUCT COLLECTION? Firstly, I want thank those who emailed me with great questions and very enlightening statements. I appreciate all the emails and enjoy replying to inquiries and comments. Additionally, I look forward to assisting you in achieving your publishing goals. It seems from the emails.. many of you have your documents, manuscripts and or material pre-written, but are clueless on the next steps. When you read my information about the eBook Software and the different compilers (creators) you are still in question as to which one you should be using. Some of you have said you have too much detail and others have said that you require more detail to make your decisions on use and or purchase. The reason I provide a primary compiler and others as BONUSES is to enable you an opportunity to review the basic differences. A few of you inquired as to why I offer 'Fix My Ebooks' Software and Tutorials on how to use it in the Ebook Compiler Publishing Toolkit. I include it only for the ebooks that require running the software to view those ebooks without difficulty. I do not include it to suggest that you use the Ebook Creation Toolkit (ebookcreator lite) as your primary publishing software to sell your ebooks. All of the ebook compiling software that I include in my listing is 100% allowable to offer. In reality, I am including the software, tools and resources to compliment the training tutorials I developed on 'How To Easily Create Your Ebook Using A Word Processor'. The Primary eBook Compiler I offer is a very high quality product and provides many options that are normally included with more expensive ebook software. It includes options to disable printing, copying, expiration and passwording. It also includes optional menu button choices. It will compile almost all of what MS Windows Internet Explorer will execute. This is a non-complex ebook creator compiler and provides a wizard to easily walk you through your ebook creation. Each person likes and or understands events and items (things) differently. Therefore, I sincerely believe an aspiring writer or existing author should have a variety of ebook creator compiling software to compare their options and capabilities. I include the compiler publishing software that does not have any additional costs to use it. You always have an option to upgrade your versions if you like. I am not affiliated with any of the third party sellers and do not make any commissions on any upgrade sales made. One of the ebook compilers I provide awareness to is very different from the rest because it gives you the ability to create your document within the software compiler, rather than to pre-write your text in an outside word processor. This is a full working copy compiler to work with and learn how it functions. If you decide you wish to purchase the advanced version, you can always decide after you have had a chance to use and experience the less advance version. There are other ebook creators that I believe to be worthy of your awareness and their capabilities. Therefore, I also include them in the collection of ebook compilers. [Which software should you use to create your ebook?] However, the reality is this software will not work correctly any longer and therefore, you should use the Primary Compiler #1 that I place in the first line up to download. This software is used in conjunction with the HTML format files. What this means is you must convert your pre-written documents to a web page format prior to executing the software compiler to create your ebook from those files. If you are not familiar with HTML code and do not know how to program in this format, don't be concerned. You do not have to learn HTML coding. If you are beginning your pre-ebook writing, 99% of all word processing applications provide a conversion option to save your documents in a web page file. It might be called 'Publish as Web Page', or 'Save As HTML', etc. There is a note of importance when converting pre-written material due to the HTML format compiling all pages as one page. I make the suggestion, when you do have a pre-written document, to use the Word Processing Application provided for Free Download and simply print it to PDF or use any one of the PDF converters. Using this method of conversion with a pre-written document will maintain all pages and numbering. The HTML format versus the PDF will require links or bookmarks to access and navigate to different pages. Depending on whether you have a pre-written document or you are going to be writing your pre-ebook material will place a great deal of determination on which software you use to create your ebook. The issue of which format to use should be considered by the same criteria? In essence the two actuaries are the same. If you are in a quandary over which product you should purchase, the best place to learn is with my collection of ebook software, tools and resources. Additionally, you will be working with a real author that uses the products or at one time did use, review and tested the compilers. If you do not have an Office Suite with a Word Processor, including Spreadsheet, Presentation, etc., then you can obtain a very high quality product without the high price. You can download a free office suite that is almost an exact clone to Microsoft Office, Word Perfect and other word processing, desk top publishing suites. This is free and you can find it at OpenOffice.org. It is a great product. It has most of the options, if not all, and capabilities that Microsoft and Word Perfect and other suites of the same type have. If you decide to purchase the ebook compiler publishing toolkit, I offer, in one of the products included video tutorials (audio) on how to create PDF documents. You will easily learn from the videos, how to include your hypertext links in addition to coaching you and teaching you a great deal more about resources and the creation of PDF documents. (Portable Document Format). Kind Regards, B. Robert |
