Most Recent Posts Thank GodPosted May-31-08 15:46:35 PDT My mom suffered a heart attack last week. It seems like everytime I see the light at the end of the tunnel, it's an oncoming train. Thank God my mom is doing better. If I lost her too, I don't know what I would do. I am so grateful to the people who bought my items, the money is so sorely needed. I have decided to sell all my jewelry in order to help my daughter-in-law and my grandson. It just sits in a jewelry box collecting dust anyway. I'm glad to be able to offer some good buys to people. Another unexpected incidentPosted May-27-08 10:33:50 PDT I am so grateful that my daughter-in-law set up my ebay account and showed me how to sell my items. I will probably be selling a lot more in the upcoming days. I am moving back home to Lancaster and I don't need all the things I now own. I am glad to be able to get some extra money to help out my grandson and daughter-in-law. She is having a real hard time of it too. The military doesn't take that good care of it's own. Everytime we turn around it's some other expense that they won't cover. I had no idea that Medicare and the military's health care plans were related. It's so hard because neither one of us ever put away for a rainy day. I guess we both thought our husbands would be there forever. I would recommend that every young person would start saving for a rainy day, you never know what is in the forecast. New hopePosted May-25-08 15:41:18 PDT Things are getting a little better around here. I guess it will always hurt, but my grandson keeps me very busy and very happy. It's funny how most people think that they have to give you expensive gifts to show their love, when just their touch on your cheek was all the gift I needed. I hope the people who buy my items wear them in good health, and enjoy them. Someday, they will pick up a piece of jewelry or use a handbag and remember something that happened one day when they were wearing or using something and something wonderful happened to them. I have a little silver cross that I was given when I received my first holy communion, I love it dearly. It isn't worth much in monetary value, but the memories I have made while wearing it are more valuable than gold or diamonds. God bless all of you who have lost loved ones in the service to our country. I keep all of you in my prayers. ThanksPosted May-24-08 10:35:35 PDT Thank you to the people who have started bidding on my items. I'm sure you will like them because they have never been used and are good quality. My son never realized when he was alive that all I ever wanted from him was his love, not all the expensive gifts. The greatest gift he ever gave me was my grand son. |
