I have been self-employed since college. I am a clothing designer and developed and marketed my own line of Couture clothing for 17 years. I had showrooms in New York, Chicago and a storefront in my hometown of Lafayette, as well as my own manufacturing company. I retired when I met my husband and we decided to start a family.

Our son, who is now 7 years old, was an inspiration in restarting my career. After becoming a mom, I developed a unique and practical line of baby gear, which we sold on eBay. After deciding to homeschool our son, I decided to retire from designing altogether and enjoy my new career as an Education Specialist trained by eBay.

 As one of the top 15 eBay Education Specialists in the U.S., I have thoroughly enjoyed showing other people as well as businesses how to be successful eBay sellers and store owners!

 We have bought and sold on eBay since 2001 and enjoy being part of the eBay community. Our customer service in the past 20 years has been exceptional and we continue the same service in our eBay business!

 As an apparel designer, I gave many presentations on my craft and I enjoyed sharing new ideas and techniques with people. After attending "ebay Live" in the summer of 2004, I jumped at the chance to become an Education Specialist trained by eBay through Power University. I now teach:

I have ongoing classes scheduled at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where the course is part of the University's Continuing Education Program and is held in the Business Center Lab on campus. A maximum number of 15 students are scheduled per class, each having their own computer with DSL internet access.

We have a computer lab in our home, where I teach up to 5 students per course. At Bouch Lab, we have DSL, as well as a wireless network for those students that would like to bring their own laptop to class. The advantage to taking classes at our lab? We have all eBay tools available on our network of computers.
