Some good people I met last night at a Graphic Artists Guild meeting reminded me I should perhaps try more often to post samples of my caricature work on my blogs, so here's my latest attempt to do so. These are some of the people I drew at a NY trade show in 2004. I'm still in the middle of uploading 2004 samples like these to my website. I finished uploading my 2005 samples last year then realized I had all these 2004 drawings also. After these are all online, I'll begin posting my 2006 caricatures at last. Who knows when my advertising will ever catch up to my work?

Well, I still haven't been contacted by eBay about any alleged violation of rules. If I am or if Rebecca Christiensen's lawyer gives me chapter & verse of what law one violates by moving content from their own blog to another blog they have elsewhere, I will comply with the relevant rules or laws. Meanwhile, I am far better versed in copyright law than most lay people. I'm not at all convinced that you can submit comments to someone else's blog then sue them for posting them on another blog they use. It's like writing a letter to the editor of Time magazine then suing them for posting the letter on their website. If I'm not contacted by eBay or given a specific legal reference as to precisely how & what law I've violated, the whole blog will be reloaded, but I will only mention Rebecca Christiensen's name here on eBay.)

(The comments by georgelooksgoodinatux posted on MY blog were moved to another blog, but now the coward has threatened to sue me if I don't remove all copied references to her ebay username from the other blog. Fine, everything she asked me to remove is gone from my other blog, but she still won't stop harassing me. If I hear from her one more time, everything will be back here on ebay. I'm not afraid to let people know what I write in public, but she is. If she didn't want people to see her name attached to her disgusting comments, why did she post them on MY internet blog? SO, all copies of the name I could find on the other blog on my first attempt have been changed. Good to know Obama's supporters are characterized by dishonesty, trivial litigiousness, racism & cowardice.)

Don't write on my blog, don't e-mail me. In other words, get a life. You need to understand HARASSING is writing on my blog and e-mailing me when I insist you STOP. For God's sake, grow up and leave me alone YOU GOD DAMN SCUM BAG!!!)

I don't care how easy it is to draw caricatures of Obama, I still won't vote for him.

If you can't remember how the economy was last time the Clintons were
in the Whitehouse, ask someone. No one is perfect, but Hillary is the
best medicine available for curing this bigger, badder sequal to the
original Bush Recession. How stupid must Obama supporters be to vote
for a senator with no resume, who was only elected because his
opponent was wiped out by a scandal and who hasn't even been in the
senate long enough to see if he can be re-elected. Obama's running
for Prez now instead of next time because he won't be re-elected to
the senate. These are the important reasons to vote with your brain
instead of some other less qualified part of your body.

... And another thing: how can Obama make any rational assertion of his patriotism when he doesn't want Michigan & Florida votes to count? He wasn't excluded from the Michigan ballot, he CHOSE to be omitted because he doesn't care about everyone's right to vote, only the votes of his friends...


Count every vote!!!

Even if it wasn't for all this, how can any presidential candidate
excuse 20 years of membership in a church led by someone blaming US
for 9/11 and cursing us all in not only sermons, but sermons still
being sold on DVD by Obama's church?

My wife hired Dale after she was unable to find anyone local for a party. His prices were on the mark and the ability to use technology with his artistic ability was a amazing. He not only did the individual drawings for the group he then proceeded to do groupings. He allows you to pick and choose which options your want so that you can customize the experience. We played a game with our 2 1/2 yr old niece at the party to see if she could tell us who all of the guests were by their caricatures drawn by Dale and she was able to identify all of them by pointing to them as we said the guest's name. I would hire him again no questions asked.

We engaged Dale to "spice up" a client appreciation dinner for about 15 people.We had a big drop down screen in the dining room that Dale connected his laptop to, and his caricatures became the focal point of the party. Lots of fun and laughter, Dale really did a fantastic job,and the customer thought that it was a great idea. I thought so too. (My Idea!!) More often I need to tell people I can add some very cool features to the caricature drawings I do at trade shows, parties & corporate events. This can be very nice for private events but even more valuable for events that are sponsored or otherwise business related. What I'm talking about is I can put logos, lettering, product placements and or custom backgrounds on every drawing I do for you. If you hire me for a fundraiser I can put something in every drawing to promote the sponsor and/or print their advertising on the back of my caricatures & frames. The same thing can be done for any other trade show or corporate event. Also, for private functions, you can have "Congratulations Joe & Gina" or whatever, a theme background, anything you want for every caricature. Additional charges may apply.

Your chances of being noticed in my eMail box & distinguished from spam would be greatly facilitated if you type a subject line that conspicuously & distinctly does not look like spam. Include words like your name, my name, "CARICATURE"  or others very specific to the subject of your correspondence. When a new customer eMails me, the eMail usually ends up in my spam folder. Sorry, nothing I can do about that, but I always search my spam folder several times each day for non-spam.

2008

"Dale came to my husband's 50th Birthday to draw caricatures of our guests. It was really fun entertainment for both the adults and the kids as everyone could look on as Dale drew each person or couple. (We had many options from which to choose and we all were very pleased with the results) All of my guests said that they loved the idea and that is was the best party favor that they have ever had.
People who have seen the caricatures in the homes of our guests have asked them who did the drawings and commented as to how good they were and what a great idea for the 50th Birthday party.

I've often been told by my collegues that my party caricatures prices are too low, but almost none of them actually advertise their prices (reason #1 why I trust them very little). In this economy, I doubt they're really keeping busy at higher prices. Meanwhile, I offer valuable options no one else does & usually earn more per hour than my peers because my customers often want some of the extras I'm selling. The most established old guy in this biz I know once told me he thought my menu of options & prices was too complex for customers. He thinks we should charge the same price all the time no matter what. A lot of my peers can't understand why I charge more for color caricatures than for black & white. I can't understand why they don't, can you? I'd like to agree that we should raise our prices just because rent, energy & groceries keep going up, but the real world doesn't always react well to such policies. People asked to pay more want to get more in return. That's the deal I offer & it works.

I use Sketchbook Pro software to draw caricatures of thousands of upper income people every year at parties & tradeshows on a laptop Tablet PC and a portable 8.5" X 11" photo printer. My work draws tremendous attention and everywhere I go, lots of people always ask what hardware, software and paper I'm using. Kids AND adults are always saying, "I gotta get one of those..."
