I'm sure when you read the paper, you've come across a child committing a crime. Some of these crimes are very violent . For example, premeditated murder. But what if the child was playing russian roulette with a loaded gun his parents had and accidentally shot his friend? What if a child pushed another child down the stairs because he was angry and that other child died? Would you judge differently if the child were 8 years old compared to 12?
I think there is a huge gray area when it comes to a child being tried as an adult. I do believe that some children know in their minds what they did was wrong but do not look at the whole future 'picture' of the crime. I also believe that if someone is murdered regardless of who does the murder, that person needs to be punished. But how do you punish an 8 year old?
Just curious on your views and if you look at my new items, I've gone PIGGY! oink oink oink!
GOOD MORNING! :)
