I admit it. Shame on me. I don't know if its curiousity or just making sure she's on the right track. Dr. Phil says it's ok so I'm going with that. Is it a parental right? Is it ok to snoop in drawers, read their text messages, check them out at the mall, etc..
I will not listen in on my daughters phone conversations. Well, in all honesty, I do hear her talking. Just not the other side and I won't pick up the phone to eavesdrop. Thats bad. Snooping around her drawers? I've done that a couple of times. But it's not because I'm nosey. It's to make sure she's 'ok'. Does that make sense? We gotta keep our kids on track. Too much crap is out there and influences???? Lots of influences out there!
No. I do not want her snooping in my room. Finding some of the things she'd find in there, she'd die of embarressment! lol...
So, is it justifiable? Do dads do this?
Oh, I found a rubber in her backpack once cuz I was cleaning it out becuase she never did. She swore up and down it was 'her friends'. Uh huh....I told her it was NOT a good idea to keep a 'friends' rubber and at least her 'friend' was playing it safe. hmmmm
