As you know I just got back from a short vacation up to Kansas City with my wife to catch an Royals/Angels game Tuesday.  The Angels won.

On our way back I was telling my wife about some of the changes eBay is making to the site.  (Sadly, she does not usually read my blogs).  I also told her I was afraid of logging onto eBay and finding out what other changes eBay is making or has made.

Once again my fears were warranted - I got into my e-mail this morning and was this headline from AuctionBytes - eBay Cancels 2009 Atlanta 'eBay Live' Conference (http://blog.auctionbytes.com/cgi-bin/blog/blog.pl?/comments/2008/5/1210023003.html)

The article stated:

The cancellation of eBay Live 2009 came as eBay began shifting its focus on the needs of high-volume sellers.

The focus on large-volume sellers became even more evident last week when it was revealed that eBay has entered into a deal with online retailer Buy.com to place all of its new and in-season inventory on eBay in a first-of-its-kind partnership.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind eBay that the smaller seller, the non-high volume seller, is what built eBay to what it is today.
