You constantly have to be on the lookout for spoof emails, fraudulent websites, viruses, and trojans. Even the most cautious people are getting their eBay and PayPal accounts hijacked. Now, there is a way to bring that to a screeching halt. The PayPal Security key is the answer to keeping your account safe. The good news is that it works for both your eBay and PayPal accounts, and it's free for PayPal business accounts! (other members only pay $5) Here's how it works: You order the key, and activate it when it comes in. Then, whenever you sign in on eBay or PayPal, it will ask you to get a six-digit number from this device. That number will only work for 30 seconds, so if you give it to a crook on a spoof page, it won't work by the time they get to it, and your account is safe! This device is very compact as well, I carry it with my flash drive, and as you can see, it's no bigger than the flash drive.  One more tip: some people find it inconvenient to have to sign in and then enter the code on a separate page. You actually don't have to. Instead, you can append the six-digit number to your password every time you sign in. For example, let's say my password is 'bob' (it's not). With this security key, I would sign is as 'pr0gr4mm3r', and type in 'bob587548' for the password if '587548' was the code from my security key.
