God be with you. I lost my Mom last year. It is so hard. Your Dad is no longer in pain. He is in a better place, even though you want him here. He will always be in your heart. Take care of yourself.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I lost my mom back in 1993 to cancer. She had just turned 50yo. It is never easy, but they are in a much better place. No pain or suffering.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I pray that God will give and your family comfort in a very hard time. God bless!

I am so very sorry for your loss... we lost my brother last week also...it is hard..but they are in a much better place now.

2CO 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, [4] who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

I`m so sorry. Cancer took my dad in 1998. I still miss him, but the thought of him being in no more pain comforts me. God bless you and your family.

That's how it was with my husband. I know he didn't want to leave me, but he just couldn't fight anymore. Nothing makes it easier, but time passes just the same. It's not like it gets better, but you do get used to it in some fashion, though I think I'm still stuck between anger and depression in the five stages of grief.

Thank you all, my loving and compassionate EBAY family!!! It has been two weeks and I still feel the pain. It isn't getting much better, but I am coping. I know a box will arrive next week with some of his things/pictures, etc. of him in it and I will have to set it aside until another time. I just can't even think of looking right now. He was my best buddy as well as my dad. We have been together for 46 years in heart and spirit.... I have so many good memories, but I know that he is in a better place, and he doesn't have to suffer in bed anymore taking dialysis 3 times a week and worrying about another amputation. He is my hero! Thank you all for you sweet condolences and I am grateful to all of you. :) You've made my grieving a bit easier and I know I can get through it cause so many of you have.
