Most Recent Posts Hubby turns 40 tomorrow - what to do......Posted Jun-26-08 07:11:32 PDT Morning everyone! Hope you are having a great week. My hubby turns 40 tomorrow - woo hoooo! Still deciding what to do; boys want to help celebrate but I also want to get a babysitter and have a "big people" night out. I get out of work at 1:00 tomorrow so maybe an early afternoon cake & ice cream with the kids then dinner and downtown with hubby tomorrow night. Ok, lunch is over - is it nap time yet? :DPosted Jun-19-08 11:07:07 PDT Hi there. Sorry I missed commenting back to everyone on my last post. My lunch arrived and had to run. MMMM it was good. I'm so glad we have a Publix here now in SC. I grew up with them in south FL and was really going to miss them....sad, huh, that I get so excited over the little things. :D Now I'm ready for nap time. I even have a little quilt here at the offie (usually for the boys when they come here) but hey, I'm game for closing my office door and taking a good snooze! LOL Hubby is bowling tonight so if I can manage to stay home, maybe I can get the boys to snuggle with me and watch a movie and fall asleep early. Have a great afternoon!
Mmmmm, what's for lunch?Posted Jun-19-08 09:12:29 PDT Hey everyone. I keep becoming MIA on here but thought I'd try to peek in more often. My schedule has been busy, busy. Busy is good though, it helped me make Powerseller last week - just hope I can keep it for awhile. So what's for lunch? I'm having a Publix Italian sub - well 1/2 of one (to be delivered soon by a co-worker). Mmmmmmm - I just LOVE Publix subs. Enjoy your day! :D Learn how to knit videos (free online)Posted Jun-19-08 06:47:41 PDT Updated Jun-19-08 06:51:19 PDT I am learning a new craft/hobby of knitting. My mother was a knitter and I swear she could knit with her eyes closed and without a pattern and make the most beautiful afghans and sweaters. I recently came across her huge box of knitting needles and thought, hey, I can do that and guess what, I did. :D However, I was quite slow at it and since I am naturally a crocheter, a friend mentioned continental knitting and WOW is it so much faster for me. I'm sticking to dishcloths and maybe a scarf for now but hope to work up to making baby afghans. For anyone wanting to learn, I found this great website with online videos of how to do cast-ons, knit, purl, and more. http://www.knittinghelp.com/videos/learn-to-knit Have a super day everyone! Woo Hooo - I made POWERSELLER!!!Posted Jun-11-08 20:51:01 PDT Hi, ya'll. I was just checking in quickly before heading to bed and what a suprise - I had a note that I made powerseller status. Not sure how long I'll keep it but it's exciting for me anyway! Hope ya'll have a great night - I'm up way past my bedtime and have been sick for a few days. Better hit the sheets so I don't get sick again. Night all!!!!!! |
