Whew - thanks for the laughter this afternoon you two!!!!  I REALLY needed that today. 

I poured my heart out on my previous post and not even one comment. (sniff sniff)  I know it was a depressing topic but I really just needed a (((hug))) or hello or wave or something.  :-(

I just felt the need to express my sincere condolences and heart-felt grief for the students and the families of NIU after the tragic shooting there yesterday.

I just can't imagine what is happening in the minds of these shooters - the world seems to be going mad.

I pray this never happens again, but sadly, I doubt we can ever NOT worry about our children and families going to school or even shopping anymore in todays world.

Hi, everyone.  I recently closed my store since I am too busy this time of year to keep it stocked up.  I did the same thing last tax season and re-opened in May.  I see lots of sellers closing and leaving due to recent events or upcoming events.

Are you staying or going?  I'm still undecided what I'm doing.  I am also tyring other sites as well but am considering a re-opening here soon.

Any advice?

I have a non-payer for a higher priced item.  What sucks is they also won and paid for the exact same thing with another seller.  What B.S.!!!!! 

They said they could not pay - here was my response....

I noticed that you bought and paid for the same type & style of rod on the same day you won my auction.  As you agreed when you bid, you understood that your bid is a legal binding contract.  You can apply for a payment plan with Paypal and still meet your legal obligation to me.  Your lack of communication this week to me coupled with your paying for another similar auction leads me to believe you intended to defraud me.  Please submit your payment immediately, as you are past due.

Why should we as sellers back down - a bid is a contract and if won is an obligation to the buyer regardless of price.  Right?!  If I bid and win, I pay even if I have to wait until payday - communication is the key here folks!!!
