eBay Buyer Satisfaction and Dissatisfaction

I'm an ebay seller- and a frequent buyer- so have been on both sides of the fence. I thought I'd ask some questions to get some input from other buyers- feel free to add other issues into the discussion.  If you're an eBay seller, feel free to add your own concerns into the discussion.

Buyer Satisfaction

When shopping on ebay, what do you place the most emphasis on- item quality, item price, payment choices, shipping method, seller feedback, seller star ratings, etc.?

Is there a certain feedback % that you won't buy from (e.g., I'll never buy from sellers with < 99% fb)?

What things do sellers do that make them 'stand out' to you?

What can sellers do to earn your repeat business?

What areas do you think sellers can improve on?

Is there anything you think ebay can do to improve the buying experience?

Do you generally buy via auctions, fixed price listings, or eBay store listings?

Seller Dissatisfaction

What things displease you most when buying on eBay? Excessive shipping, slow shipping, poor communication, high shipping charges, etc.?

If you've been on ebay for longer than 1 year, have you noticed your buying experience improving or worsening?

Is there anything else that displeases you about sellers?

Are there things eBay could do to make it easier for buyers when things go wrong?

I will not buy an item, say a Coach purse from a seller that has any feedback suggesting that any item they sold was a fake. Even if they have 5,000 pos fdbks and there was 10 that said "fake Coach", that would be enough for me to look elsewhere. A neg here or there with tons of pos fdbk is a good sigh though. Can't help to get a neg here or there from p.i.a. buyers.

Is there a certain feedback % that you won't buy from ?I have no paticular feedback percentage I go by when thinking about buying from someone, however I do look for a pattern of what buyers are complaining about and if it seems a lot are complaining about it then I move on.
What things do sellers do that make them 'stand out' to you?Communication, I really like the ones who let me know whats going on with my purchase.

What can sellers do to earn your repeat business?Be honest in their item description and keep good communication open

What areas do you think sellers can improve on?THe two that I listed in question above, I seen many who skip over things that I know they had have seen and I have dealt with sellers who have no communication what so ever throughout the whole transaction

Do you generally buy via auctions, fixed price listings, or eBay store listings?Depends on what I am looking for and how fast I want it.
Seller Dissatisfaction

What things displease you most when buying on eBay?Poor description details and excessive shipping

Is there anything else that displeases you about sellers?Dishonesty and retail feedback

Though, I review sellers feedback...still, presentation/description of item/warranties, pricing/shipping...personal need of item...will sway my
alertness to sellers questionable honesty. Ebay, should be able to filter
out the inconsistencies/questionable patterns of both parties. One, should
not bite the hand that feeds it. Basically, the buyers lose in any form of
dispute.
