That's all for now, Later! The 'What my T-shirt quality ratings mean' PostPosted Mar-28-07 15:07:16 PDT This post will explain in detail what the ratings I give my t-shirts mean. If you still are unsure of the quality of a shirt after reading this, please message me. NEW- This shirt is brand new. It should be in perfect quality. May or may not have tags attached. NEAR NEW- This shirt will seem just like a new shirt, I just don't have proof that it's never been worn. Should be in near perfect quality, and will not have a 'worn' feeling. Colors and graphics will still be bright and unfaded. May have very very minor flaws which will be described. Ie: missing size tag. Perfect for a gift. VERY GOOD- This shirt will be in great condition, but will not have the crisp feeling of a new shirt. Colors may be slightly faded, but overall will still be strong. Graphics may have slight wear, but will not actually be damaged. Think a shirt that has been washed about ten times. It's lost that 'new' feeling, but there's nothing actually wrong with it. It's in good enough shape to buy as a gift. your child could wear it to school. GOOD- This shirt will have a 'worn' or 'not new' feeling. It may have minor flaws which will be described. Ie: small stain in unnoticable place, like the inside of the shirt. In need of small repair like a button missing. Collars and hems may seems a little ragged but will still be intact. Colors may be noticably faded. Graphics may be slightly damaged but will be mostly intact. Think a shirt you've had for a few years. It's still in good shape for everyday wear, but you wouldn't wear anywhere nice. It shouldn't be bought as a gift unless you know the person wants it so much they won't care about the condition. These may make good play/craft shirts for children. FAIR- This shirt will almost for sure be faded and have heavy wear to the graphics. It may have noticable damage that will be described. Ie: small holes, seams coming undone, noticable stains ect. May be a good buy if you can easily repair clothing. May be a good buy if you are going for a specific look like, 'punk', 'trashed', 'metal', ect. Should not be purchased as a present. May make good painting smocks for childern. May be good for cutting up to use in projects. POOR- I doubt I will sell any shirts of this bad quality, but it I did, this would be that shirt that your mom kept trying to throw out and you stubbornly clung onto enough though it was falling apart. I had some shoes like that once. I miss those shoes. New listings- T shirts and an iPod. Also- Naked Raygun concert is only a month away!!!!!Posted Mar-21-07 20:50:05 PDT Hey all. I haven't had any new listings for a while, but I've got a few up now. I hope to have a few new listings up every day for the next couple days and then keep new listings up every week. We'll see how that goes. check out my sellers page anyway and see if there's anything you like. People seem to have be using buy-it-now a lot lately, so don't wait if you find something you want! For something even for exciting then my new listings, an awesome punk band is coming to concert in Chicago soon! The band's name is Naked Raygun. They've been around for a long time, but didn't tour for years. They've did a few shows last year that were mostly unannounced. I think the upcoming show is their first in a while that a lot of people will have heard of in advance, so it should have really good turnout. They are playing at the House of Blues in Chicago on Friday April 6th. They've got other shows coming up too, so check out their site to get all the info. Just google Naked Raygun and it'll be easy to find. I've never seen them before, so I'm really looking forward to it. I pretty much thought I'd never get a chance to see them in concert. They're playing with a whole slew of other good bands too, like the Effigies, so if you like punk at all you'll prolly want to go. Quick updates- countdown, what's to come, ectPosted Jan-18-07 15:41:02 PST Updated Jan-18-07 16:03:24 PST I just got a new mouse. I had no idea how much I was missing till I used it for the first time. The cursor glides across the screen now. What it did before was closer to staggering, but I'd grown so used to it I hardly noticed. The scroll wheel breaking was the turning point though. I've got no clue how people functioned before scroll wheels. Anyways, I'm happy with it, and I'm happy I've got some news to share with you all. Took a bunch of photos last night, I'm working on the listings after this, so throughout tonight there will be new listings up to see. for the most part it's going to be t-shirts. Some bands shirts, some kids stuff like Yu-Gi-Oh, some random shirts. I've got rather a good amount of shirts that still have to be photographed too, so keep an eye on my sellers page this week. You'll want to make sure you see that Ozzy shirt first! Shirts aren't all that's coming though. I've got some ipod accessories, some video games/game accessories and a few systems to get up. N64, Sega Genesis, and some other Sega system(have to figure out what it is...) If you're looking for gaming stuff, make sure to check out what I've got up right now. Some stuff is ending soon. Oh, and some more neat coffee cups too. Sucks to be you if you missed the White Castle one that just ended, but maybe a Ren & Stimpy one will do instead? If you think about it, why bother with the rest of ebay? I've got shirts to keep you warm, gaming gear to keep you entertained, and cups to hold the coffee that keeps you up all night! The more you buy, the more I can offer so go get in some bids! Almost forgot! Up to 35 hours logged in with my wireless PS2 controller. Still way more to go before 250 though..... Keep your eyes open...Posted Jan-09-07 16:04:50 PST Cuz I've got more stuff coming! Before I get into that though, here's where the countdown stands. Adding another 5 hours to the total brings us up to 30 hours down and 220 hours left to go. I think I need to spend a few extra hours each day playing! This is going to take a while. If you don't have a clue what I'm talking about, check out 1 or 2 posts back. One of them explains it all (maybe 3 posts back) More playing's not going to happen just yet though, cuz I'm too busy getting stuff listed! The punk shirts I have up are ending tonight, so I'm throwing up some metal ones, some pokemon/cartoon, and possibly some gaming stuff. Also, new hats coming soon. Some of the new listings are allready posted, but they might not show up untill later tonight, depending on how fast ebay is about it. Check back tonight or tommorow. I'll be posting again later tonight about something funny I noticed in one of my video games! Band T-shirts ending in the next hour! Starting bid only $5 on most!Posted Jan-03-07 13:47:42 PST Yep! you can grab a great shirt or two for just a few dollars if you act fast. Got a few ending real soon that have no bids yet. If you're the only bidder, you'll get the shirt for just $5! You really can't beat that and I'm sure you don't want to miss out.
Don't see anything you like now? Keep an eye on my sellers page, cuz I've got lots more on the way! Punk T-shirts are up, and the start of the 250 hour countdown. Come by and keep track with me!Posted Jan-02-07 21:30:20 PST Yep, got up those punk shirts. I also had a few allready listed, so if you're checking out my sellers page, make sure to look at the older listings too. Some of them end soon, so don't miss out! (new listings may take a few hours to show up, depending on ebay) Now for what's up with this controller I mentioned... So I wanted to get a wireless controller for my PS2, cuz I just picked one up and it's one ofthe new slim ones. Hell is that thing tiny! I was paranoid that if I was using a wired controller, the cord would get yanked on, and since the slim PS2 doesn't weigh anything, it would end up broken. I was looking at Gamestop to see what they had, was hoping for a nice little Madcatz controller. At first, all I found were the fancy wireless controllers. I almost got that new one by Nyco, cuz it came with a rechargeable battery and the charger. Which is a good deal for $40. The Gamestop guy was also nice enough to open one for me so I could see if it was comfortable to hold. While it was -almost- perfect to hold, it was just a touch larger in feel then I like. This and the fact that while $40 was a good price, I figured if I found something for a little less, that would mean more money for a new game. So I got back to hunting throught the other controllers. Nestled in with the wired 'Gamestop' controllers, I made a great discovery. It looks just like a regular PS2 controller, but it's wireless. It's the 'Predator S-Type Controller for PS2' It doesn't come with a rechargeable battery, and I'm not even sure if you can get one...but... it claims it will run for 250 hours off of 2AA's! This made me curious, as all the other wireless controllers only claimed a 50 hour lifespan, which is why I was planning on avoiding ones without a rechargeable battery. Seeing as the price tag on this controller was a mere $20, and I knew it would be comfortable, I picked it up. So now I'm keeping track, to see if it lives up t0 the 250 hour claim. Right now I'm on 25 hours, using a set of Energizer 2500 mAh 1.2v NiHM rechargeable batteries that had a full charge. So that's 25 hours and counting up. Let see how long this goes! |
