Man's Work

I have stumbled across this delightfully clever tevelsion show, and thought i should share it with everyone. The show is called Man;s Work, and it is braodcast on channel 7 at 11pm on Wednesday nights, in Australia.

It is a very clever show, in which Ashley, a 30+ self confessed lazy git, must grow up and get a real job. But, they have put him in some of the hardest jobs around the world, for a week, and film the results. I found this program by accident, and sat entralled. They sent him up to Canada, in a forest, and made him into a lumberjack. But these lumber jacks were cutting down trees which were over 200 years old- they were so large and heavy that most of the transport happened by helicopter crane. I couldnt stop laughing as he cocked up one job after another. And in typical larakin fashion, his camera crew broke into the cabin of 2 blokes, who were actually having sex. I couldnt stop laughing, i mean, they blurred the main area, but it was clear what they had just been doing. and for supposedly the most rugged of all blokes, i guess the isolation got to them.

Last week, Ash signed up for a week playing AFL football with the Sydney Swans. Nick Davies put him through the paces, and damn near killed him with the weight lifting. Ha ha ha When it came to match day, they put him on a B Grade side, and watched him cock up kick after kick. The captian yelled at Ash at halftime, and he started playing a lot better, until he got crushed by a 150kg opposition player. Poor bugger broke his ribs.

Well, its peace out from me, I think you should watch this show, as it is a lot of fun, and a good way to kill half an hour. Tell me what you think!
