Sniping

What do y'all think about the practice of sniping? I'm talking about the person who doesn't bid on an item till the last few seconds.

What is the shipping weight of a DVD?

Could any of you sellers tell me what is the shipping weight of a single DVD w/case in a bubble wrap envelope?

Maybe I was wrong about Forkseth & a gift from God

See previous 2 posts. Forkseth emailed me today and said he would be refunding the cost of insurance and as promised I am posting it here. I will still refuse to do business with him in the future because his feedback is private. If you decide to do business with him, beware that he has sold me a bootleg DVD. I would ask specific questions prior to bidding. I did communicate with him prior to bidding but my question was not specific enough. From his response, I should have been able to read between the lines and know it was bootleg. For this reason I will drop that issue. It is time I refocused my attention to God anyways.

Speaking of which the Lord has brought a wonderful Ebay person into my life. Very unexpectly, this person did me a kindness once again showing that by their fruits they will be known. The Lord brings certain people into our lives for a reason. We need to stay tuned to this and understand that it is of God. They may come to us to provide help or to seek help. Whatever the reason, strive to do the Lord's will. Thank you Jeanie, your kindness will be rewarded in Heaven.

Paul The Apostle

I have been away much too long.  Been making the rounds of other blogs and leaving seeds where I can.  I recently purchased the DVD "Paul The Apostle" on Ebay (thank you so much Mykingdied4me ).  Another excellant movie. It depicts the life of Saul / Paul and how he pursecuted Christ,  until his experience on the road to Damascus. Then following his conversion how he then became the persecuted. I am so pleased that Dragonlangel told me about the movie "Jesus". While searching for it on Ebay I found that it was part of a trilogy (" The Bible Collection"), another being this movie "Paul" ( the third is Joseph whose brothers sold him into slavery ). Not being able to afford the set, I set about to buy them individually. It costs more that way, but I could spread the payments out. Losing several bids on the "Jesus" DVD, I was able to win one for "Paul". I will continue my quest till I have the set. Seeing these movies and what they endured inspires me. All too often we get upset if someone slights us in the smallest way. My hope is that I continue to grow in Christ. I have such a long way to go. I know I can never be worthy except as he makes me worthy.

I want to thank all the kind people I have met wandering the blogs. God bless and keep you all.

Jesus of Nazareth

I recently have purchased "Jesus Of Nazareth"  DVD on ebaY. Thanks Werdvds for the great service. It is a 1977 made for TV movie about the life of Christ from birth to His glorious resurrection.  I saw it when originally aired and have caught parts of rebroadcasts since.  This was the first time I was able to really sit down and watch the movie.  While the producers do take some liberties in telling the story it is quite in line with the Bible ( always the source for the truth ). Robert Powell as Jesus and Michael York as John the Baptist give solid performances, as do all the others in this movie.  I was very moved by the depictions of what Christ went through for us ( not as graphically portrayed as "The Passion" ).  I highly recommend this DVD to you.  What a wonderful way to spend some quality family time.  With all the messages children recieve today, this one is sorely needed.  I do not sell on ebaY, except the message of Christ ( and the price for that has already been paid for you ).    It would make a great companion to "The Passion Of The Christ" and beginning of a Christ related film library.  Please share with us your favorite films on the subject.  God bless all of you and have a great day in the Lord.

What a joy

What a Joy and blessing it is to read other blogs and see all the references to Christ.  The seeds you are planting will make for a bountiful harvest.

Want a guaranteed return on your investment

Wow! What a response. Thank you all for sharing with us.  What can I say but if you want a guaranteed return on your investment, give to the Lord.  You will always recieve back way more than you gave.  Matthew 19:26  But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.  Keep those testamonies coming in.  Matthew 6:20  But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

I appreciate all the prayers and support, not for my glory, but the Father's.

a little about me

Hi everyone, welcome and Praise the Lord.  My name is Rick and I thought I would start this blog to give you a place to share your thoughts on Christ.  He has done so very much for me and I feel I should give back.  Throughout my life the Lord has been by my side guiding me along my way.  I wish I could say that I was as faithful to him as he has been to me.  Fortunately I was raised going to church.  As an adult though, I strayed away more through my own stuborness than anything else.  I control my life I thought, and I'll not turn over that control to anyone.  I'm a good person. I'm honest. I'm kind to those around me and even strangers.  What more can the Lord expect of me.  Well I'm here to tell you that from me he expected a lot more.  He expected me to love him as much as he loves me, and He expected me to show that love.  ( jeez first the wife and now Him )  I began realizing this when I was about 30 ( I'm now 56 ) but would I submit my life to him. No way, that stuborn pride just kept getting in the way.  For about the next 20 years I made my way through life my way.  The Lord with boundless patience kept working on me.  By the time I was in my 40's the wife had had enough of me and left, but the Lord never left me.  When I reached 50 I looked back on my life and saw what a mess I had made of things.    I was empty inside and could find nothing to fill that void.  Finally I submitted my life to him.  I now know a peace and happiness that had never existed before.  I owe everything to the Lord.  He is my Savior and I will live for him.  For the life of me I can't understand why it took me so long.  I am so glad I made that decision, and that He never gave up on me.  Last year I was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis ( ALS ) AKA Lou Gherrig's disease.  The Lord has been my strength and will continue to be until that glorious day when He calls me home. Thank you Jesus.

Please feel free to post your experiences here anytime.  All are welcome.  Do to my ALS I won't be able to post very often but y'all just keep on for me.  Let me also take this time to invite any of you who do not know the Lord to seek to know him.  I am sure there are many people here that can answer your questions.  If need be, I will do my best.

Praise be to God.
