I am 63 years old and have been married for 43 years and we have 3 children, who are all adults now.  We have also been blessed with 3 grandsons whose father is in the Navy and they move every 3 years.

We have more than 60 video tapes, countless photos and slides and 8mm movies from when my wife and I were kids.  In order to watch all those memories we would have to drag out an 8mm projector, a slide projector, a Hi 8 camcorder and a VHS-VCR.  All this material is ageing and before too long will be unusable.  So what I did was to transfer all of it to DVD's and now I can pop a DVD in to the DVD player and watch whatever I want.  I have also made copies and sent them to siblings, sons and daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren and just about every other relative and friend who has requested a copy.  As a result our family's precious memories are not only enjoyed by current generations but will be shared with future generations whom we may never know.
