Most Recent Posts Star ratingsPosted Jul-04-07 08:38:49 PDT For some reason, one of more of my customer's has given me a lower rating for 'communication' in the star ratings. I nearly always send eBay Selling Manager e-mails confirming receipt of payment (certainly for posted payments) and ALWAYS send a Dispatch Notification e-mail for every item shipped. I don't know if someone just hasn't received the e-mail (some service providers flag some eBay e-mails as 'bulk') or if they just didn't like my e-mail format, content or whatever! I know a lot of people seem to get huffed if they pay even a penny more for postage than the stamp cost but, unfortunately, you can't just stick a stamp on an item and it flies out of the window! You have to pack it - this takes time and effort and packaging doesn't come free - then I have a six mile round trip to post it. Unfortunately most people don't understand this. Oh well! |
