These versatile jig heads may be used in either fresh or saltwater.

They may be dressed with many different swimbait bodies as well as a wide variety of other soft plastic baits.

The jig head is made with a special heavier wire 5/0 Mustad Ultra Point saltwater corrosion resistant black nickel hook. You may have seen these same jig heads before. They're very popular, especially in saltwater and may be sold under different name brands. However, no others have the extra heavy duty hook like you see in it here.

This heavy wire hook is suitable for heavy freshwater bass tackle and for other big freshwater gamefish including striped bass, pike, big brown trout and other formidable gamefish in fresh or saltwater.

The heavy wire corrosion resistant hook makes this jig an ideal choice for rugged saltwater use.

These jig heads have a heavy 5/0 hook and work swell with 4" to 6" swimbait bodies such as the above examples.

These jig heads work with many productive styles of soft plastic baits in the 4" 5" and 6" size range primarily.
