This Super Deep Diver is one of only a few crankbaits able to dive super deep on a cast. Much mention is made of this type crankbait reaching 20 foot depths, but these type super deep divers spend most time in the 12 to 16 foot depths on a cast. Most anglers rarely use such super deep divers. Ninety-five percent of anglers never fish with this type of super deep diver. They are impractical for most shore anglers since they dive so deep, a shore angler would snag them frequently. Yet many boat anglers also are unfamiliar or inexperienced with super deep diving crankbaits. But if you make an effort to learn how to use them, you will have a constant untapped source of bass that few other crankbait anglers ever fish for.

It will impress you how little tuning these crankbaits need right out of the box. Most other crankbait brands tend to require more preparatory work to tune them up and get them to swim properly. However, these crankbaits come off the factory floor without needing as much tuning on average as other brands. That is a strong indication that they are made more precisely, the assembly and finishing, than many other cranks out there.

This crankbait has several large, heavy rattles inside that produce more of a single knocker type sound, more like a drum beat than a chatter.

The pair of #2 bronze Mustad hooks are super sharp and are not able to marry each other. The front hook is not able to catch on the diving lip. The diving lips are integrated parts of the bodies. So the lips cannot loosen or break off. These are common faults of other crankbait brands - poor quality factory hooks that need to be replaced right out of the box, hooks that marry each other or catch on the diving lip, loose or broken lips - but these crankbaits you see do not have any of these faults.
