Old Sailors never die, they just end up with powerboats.

Restoring 1980 Sea Ray 225

Located the boat on the web and went to see it about two months ago.  Kind of an interesting history.  Owned first by a young couple, who put in a new engine in 1994 and had it rebuilt in 2003.  They also redid the hull and deck, added a hardtop and bought a new Magic Tilt trailer. She got pregnant and he got sent to Iraq with his Guard Unit, so they sold it to a friend, who got downsized and had to take an engineering job in Argentina.  He used the boat once, then it sat in his driveway, until I bought it.  Lots of work to do on the inside, but it has lots of new stuff and should be fun to operate.

Hi I used to go sailing out on the Hauraki Harbor in NZ, sailed for years summer and winter, loved it, I take it your boat is not a sailing boat, I was in the New Zealand Navy for a while too, when I was young..............er lol good luck with your boat.
