Recycle,  my hubby likes to buy large fajita seasoning containers 14 ounce or bigger.  He was going to throw it out but, I stopped him.  I mixed "green flea carpet" treatment for today and repurposed the spice container into my carpet shaker. Whooooo Hooooo

Its flipping humid here today, Uno's feathers are sticking to his body. So he and his harem are out dust bathing.  What are you peeps doing in your slice of heaven?

We will be cutting oak branches to make our trees healthier.  We found 15 little mesquite trees yesterday the kind you use in smoking foods.  Roofing the chicken coops and possibly tilling a little late summer garden.  My sprouts will need a place to spread out because I started them in a 2 ring kiddie pool.  So far we have:  cucumbers, tomatoes (3 types), onions, beans, lettuce, jalapeno, serrano, cantaloupe, watermelon and pumpkins.

Lets see if how many others are out there.  Lovely and wet day here in Cow & Chicken Town, we have new babies---10 Guineas and 1 Rhode Island Red, rooster.  Tell Shartey she is a granny AGAIN. Woooo Hoooooo!

Its too flipping quiet! Where are the blog wars?

I can see the same ole drama going on.  Its okay going shopping now. I sold 9 dozen eggs today. What have you done?

I made a carpet deodorizer / flea repellant that is so easy to make and lasts for around ten days.  No poisons and its cheaper than the brand at Wally World.

Here is the recipe:  3 drops clover oil (penny royal), 3 drops eucalyptus oil, 3 drops cedarwood oil, 9 drops citronella oil and 1 lb baking soda . (I doubled the recipe because I have almost 1000 square feet carpeted.)

 MIXED WELL, Let sit 1 hour covered in bowl,  then sprinkle on carpet for 1 hour vacuum. Vacuum bag will be double wrapped and disposed of. 

Cost for this is less than 2 dollars with same amount at store $12.
