Blog Party--Missing Woman FormationPosted Dec-21-07 10:08:10 PST I want to hold a blog party for my friend, JoJo. This is a way all of us can honor an amazing woman & the friendships in our lives. Jo Jo is the model who inspired my avatar. She brought so much to my life. So please help me tonight honor her spirit with joy by marking her journey into a world of no pain. I know she is an Angel looking after us all. All are invited: New/Old/Sour/Sweet and you may bring a dish, drink, song, joke, or pool boy. Let's all toast the amazing woman I called friend--Jo Jo. Love, Hugs & Kisses, Nekkid Chicken In 20 years of military servicePosted Dec-20-07 20:36:09 PST Here is what I learned: people come and go in your life. They were put there for a reason to: help, listen, be friends, piss you off, fight with you but either way to--teach you something or learn from you. And you alone must figure that one out.
Another huge lesson I did learn was how to—let them go. Either they continue on their path or you on your own.
When a person dies; I write down what they mean to me. I mark their importance in words. (Trust me here, I have already told them in person.) My thoughts are either for the good, the bad, or the impossible. Yet, the act of writing frees my soul enough to allow others to enter. I just happen to believe this is our Creator’s Plan. Constant change and renewal of your hearts, minds, and souls by touching the lives of others—or allowing them to touch you!
I love you JoJo! Love, Hugs and Kisses Nekkid ChickenTomorrow Night PeepsPosted Dec-20-07 17:01:37 PST Updated Dec-21-07 10:03:41 PST I want to hold a blog party for my friend, JoJo. Love, Hugs & Kisses, Nekkid Chicken My friend JoJo has diedPosted Dec-20-07 14:12:46 PST Updated Dec-20-07 16:06:38 PST Sorry at a loss for words right now. Anniversary soon to comePosted Dec-18-07 19:51:36 PST I sit here and remember my daughter's journey. Each time her birthday comes around, I hold my breath. Kind of silly but, it is mine. Five years will be here in less than a week. (((I still want to byatch slap Bio Mom. (I guess that instinct will never go away.))) Seeing the changes in her has made me think of things................. She was and is not the same; nor is she mine. She has a life. One soon she will not share with me anymore. (On convert intelligence gathering, she will not share with her Bio Mom either.) Does knowing this bring me pain? Of course it does. But, I just sit here remembering walking her through recovery. |
