About Me  | Most Recent Posts Putting my dreams on hold for reality!!!!!!Posted Nov-27-07 13:10:12 PST I've decided my goal was pretty unrealistic, and due to unpredictible circumstances I am forced to put my dream of owning a home on hold yet again this time hopefully only for 6 more months. Our finances have taken a dip. They seem to every year around this time, I haven't figured out why. At this point in the year we seem to almost always go broke *and No it's not because of christmas shopping I haven't even started that yet* ;) ! Last night I had to be frugal queen LOL... We needed diapers, cat litter, Milk, Bread, Mayonaise, Drinks for Hubby's Lunch, & a few odds & ends things that we absolutely needed But we only had $20. It was an interesting trip to the store But I managed to get all I needed & still have $2 left over for gas ... Yes I am that broke that I didnt even buy a full gallon of gas !! My new goal is simple, I will work harder & do as much as I possiably can to get that down payment together. I'm giving myself 6 months to come up with whatever amount I can to put twards the down payment. If we stay in this tiny apartment much longer than 6 months I may go insane LOL!! The need 4 a home!Posted Sep-18-07 08:35:54 PDT So as some of you may already know I mainly am selling on Ebay to try & come up with a decent down payment on a home! My husband, I & Our 2 kids currently are jammed into a tiny 2 bedroom apartment of 750 sq Ft! We had a decent amount saved & then as our luck always seems to go one thing after another came up & our savings we're drained in a matter of months:( Totally diminishing any hopes of buying a house before the new year(2008). I have set a simple yet challenging goal for myself & that is to make $3000.00 before January 1st 2008! I have been dedicating just about all my free time to finding stuff to list & working on descriptions etc... I hope it will be reflected in my listings in the next few weeks to come ! The task at hand may be a challange but I'm determined to get that $ for a down payment & get us out of this tiny apartment!! Thankyou to ALL my customers ...
