Army Navy Store items on Ebay

We have been selling Army surplus items on Ebay for some time now.  We do our best to provide top quality products at a reasonable price.  Many Ebayers shop strictly on price (which most times, we are the cheapest), but overlook the feedback and history of the seller.  We have a physical store, which many sellers don't.  You may not think that means much, but we stock over 20,000 different items.  That's not just 20,000 items in stock.  That's 20,000 different items with multiple quantities! Over 100,000 individual pieces sitting on our shelves!!!  Wouldn't you rather buy from someone that believes enough in themselves and their merchandise to invest their hard earned money to stock this merchandise?  Too many sellers are using your money to order what you just bought, no money out of their pocket. 
Now that I have addressed sellers, let's look at buyers.  We appreciate every sell no matter how big or small.  But, buyers need to keep in mind that this is the Ebay Community, not Wal-Mart.  It is a give and take between buyers and sellers.  Most of the time it is a newbie (a new person to Ebay) that fires off a negative feedback without a moments hesitation.  I have seen it firsthand, and in other sellers feedbacks.  Our cooperation as a community is what makes this thing called Ebay work.  Give the community a chance to work!  If we don't work together, then we all lose.  If you fire off a negative without giving someone a chance to resolve a problem, then you have ended the communication chain.  Would you feel motivated to resolve a problem after someone has left you a negative?  Nobody's perfect!  We just try a little harder than most!

Out of almost 6000 feedbacks, we had 18 leave a negative.  These were 18 people who missed an opportunity to resolve things in  a win-win.  I wish those 18 people had taken the time to contact us.  We do everything we can to work things out.
Enough of my commentary, next time I will try to address some of the issues concerning making purchases of militay items.
