Most sports tickets now are bought through the club(s) offering them for sale. Pay attention please..only buy online from season ticket holders. And the reason for this is quite simple..we own them and bought them as a package from whatever sports team and are therefore responsible for who seats in our seats.

Almost very pro team has a ticket forwarding option given to buyers who might not be able to make the game and chooses to sell it to another. Ticket forwarding(emailing) goes through the teams ticket dept. and is valid to the sender only!

When forwarding a ticket a seller owns, they know that the physical ticket they possess is no longer valid. The only ticket that is valid is the ticket forwarded to the buyer. That's it! I have forwarded hundreds of tickets over the years and never got a complaint about their invalidity.

People that buy ticket direct from the teams' ticket office don't have that option unless they personally contact that office and ask for a Will Call ticket to be held for whatever person buying it at the Will Call window on the day of the event. This is risky!

Season ticket holders or mini-plan holders have the forwarding option to EMAIL you your tickets. Only the team ticket office does this as well. Everyone else has to mail them out! Buying tickets on the day of the game is not a good thing---way to risky for forwarding because you never know when the holder is near a computer to perform this task.

I always come across people very worried about receiving their tickets and try and explain the ease of it. The team ticket office will send out verification of forward ticket transfer to both the seller and buyer of course. So, to play it safe...BUY FROM SEASON TICKET HOLDERS, if you want them transferred via email. Thanks.
