my aching throatPosted Jun-23-08 11:12:38 PDT Updated Jun-23-08 11:13:32 PDT Today I feel miserable. I have a terrible sore throat. My throat actually feels like I swallowed a wool sweater. Or a cat. On top of that my ears feel like they're filled with fluid. I almost feel like I'm underwater sans the scuba gear. To add insult to injury my temp is 102.6. I feel lousy. I just made myself some theraflu sore throat hot tea. It's apple cinnamon flavor and it doesn't taste too bad. I'm just hoping this stuff kicks in soon and I get over this bug quickly. My 18 month old has tonsillitis so he's miserable as well. My arms hurt from holding him so much. My 4 month old had his well check today. He's growing well but the pediatrician said he has a subtle flat head in the back on the right side. Plagiocephaly. One of the nurses suggested I buy a repositional pillow to help even things out. I hope this is nothing to worry about. Other than the flat head, he is doing great. He was given his shots and then he threw up. All three of us are on tylenol. Needless to say as a family we are not off to a good start today. Hoping to feel better tomorrow.
