It was about -35 degrees last night with wind chill factor when Ethel finally finished my custom made dog coat.  She sent me outside to "do my business" before going to bed.  I thought the wind was going to flip me over like a redneck tipping cows!  Teehee...Southern roots for Ethel pop out once in a while.

The coat was nice and warm...though really strange.  It cut the wind and allowed me to run around looking for just the right spot.

Wally's Tip of the Day:

Keep lots of fresh water available for your pets in the winter time.  Like humans, we get dehydrated, too, from the heater.

It's supposed to be "blizzard like" conditions this afternoon.  As usual, the news is posting all kinds of closings.  Will it be that bad or is it the usual storm hyped up to create panic and some news?  Wally Dog isn't sure.  He just knows it's grey outside and he's waiting on Ethel to sew him a faux fur coat that will go into the WallyDogWear collection.  He might try it on...or he might not.  He'll have to decide after he takes a nap.  See some of Ethel's custom made dog clothing at http://stores.ebay.com/Bonnies-Better-Buys.

Wally can't understand the CAT...why is it that Wally just walks by the cat and gets swatted?  Wally hasn't stolen the cats food recently...well, not today...and he hasn't destroyed the cat's bed...so what's his problem?  Wally thinks cats should be put outside so they can become furry popsicles...

When your male dog has a leg amputated, he'll have a few adjustments to make.  Hiking a leg to pee the first few times after surgery results in lots of tip overs.  Have your human provide a big rock to balance on...teehee...

Wally Dog has decided that although pretzels taste good...and popcorn is his favorite...that ANYTHING the cat wants actually tastes the best!

Wally Dog is happy today!  He ate the cat's snack and managed to spit out the celery his master gave him.  Yuck! 

Wally Dog watched the Packers lose yesterday...woof!  Now maybe people will stop wearing those jerseys everywhere.  It's down right embarassing when Ethel puts a green and yellow dog coat on Wally!

Wally Dog says to make your pets wear dog clothing and feet protectors when its so cold outside your nose hair freezes!  But you don't have to have dog clothing that mimics your favorite team...just something warm!

So...having three legs makes it hard on a dog.  I'm so happy to see the sun!  Maybe some of this snow will melt and I won't go skidding the next time nature calls...then again, the snow melts and Ethel sees she needs to pooper scooper. Not good!  Makes her cranky.

But I still wish it would get warm.  When it's warm, my slaves open the sliding door.  The last time they did, the CAT broke through the screen and ran away.  We didn't see him for four months.  It was absolutely wonderful because I got all of the attention.  Ahh....bliss.

Now that he's back, he thinks he rules the house.  Ticks me off...wait! I DO NOT have ticks.  I'm very clean.  Ticks like fur..and I don't have much.  When is someone going to invent Rogaine for dogs?!
