Archive - February 2008 Wally Dog Sing AlongPosted Feb-28-08 21:05:17 PST It's been an interesting week and Ethel has been working to get some exposure for Wally Dog Wear brand custom dog clothing....and pet clothing...and, well, if your read the previous post, you'd know she let Mr. Tux in on the action with his white satin collar and bow tie. Add to that craziness that kds have been playing piano, singing, practicing the flute and snare drum all week in the house. Wally Dog decided he needed to get into the action. So Wally Dog proposes a Sing Along song to the Sound of Music's My Favorite Things. But this one is Wally Dog's version. Remember the tune? Then sing along. Wally Dog's Favorite Things Warm doggy coats and kibbles and bits-es Barking at the cat and spray cheese on Ritz’s My tallest master with balls that he flings These are a few of my favorite things.
My best friend Chloe and black puffy Poodles Running over Tuxie and eating his noodles Leftover turkey thighs, stuffing, and wings These are a few of my favorite things.
When the cat bites When the wasp stings When I’m feeling bad I quickly remember my favorite things And then I don’t feel so sad. Woof!

Today was no different. At this rate, he'll soon be completely bald. Wally Dog used to have this really cool tuft of hair right in the center of his back along his spine. It reminded everyone of a middle aged man in denial who does an amazing swirl comb over. Except that Wally's tuft wasn't long enough to swoop. Thank goodness Ethel made him a custom dog bathrobe. She makes custom dog clothing...good thing for me! Teehee...Ethel used to know a man in El Paso whose name was Mr. Wiggs. No kidding! He was a maintenance person at the Sun Bowl. Very unfortunate! You see, the Sun Bowl was notorious for air that would swirl through the tunnel and down to the turf. Kind of like an air whirlpool. Mr. Wiggs had red hair...what was left of it...that he would "comb over" his balding head. The hair was at least 8 inches long. Then...teehee...he would try to spray the hair down with some kind of spray on varnish. What the spray did, in reality, was to make the hair stick together...not to his shiny pate. In effect, Mr. Wiggs created a long, stuck together, red hair flap. When the wind would start to whip...well...that hair would flap on his head like an albatross trying for take off! It was an amazing thing to see. Wally Dog promises to NEVER try a comb over. He'll just gracefully grow bald...a lesson some of his human friends could use. Wally Dog's Tip of the Day: After a bath or shower, wrap your pet in something nice and warm like a doggy bathrobe. |
