This weekend I listed a couple of lots of bamboo tile beads, a really cool surface for painting, stamping, transferring, etc. These beads make great bracelets and pendants. Below are some ideas and links to projects showing what you can do with these beads!

My beads to the right are simply natural colored bamboo tiles washed with alcohol based inks, then stamped with black Staz-on solvent ink.

Here are a couple of ultra-quick necklace ideas:

Use cording, ribbon or a beaded strand on bead stringing wire,
run it down through one hole and up through the other.
Add a clasp or tie a knot if the necklace is long enough
to slip over your head.

oday I visited Cherokee beadworker Martha Berry's website again. I hadn't visited in quite awhile, but now I remember why I love her work so much -- the colors! Beautiful, strong compositions in traditional Cherokee style. Here's a link to her page of traditional bags:
