I've had a glorious break from Internet blogging, although I do miss it! We've had lots of "snow days" this year, which has been very relaxing. Thanks to some new (and economically productive ;-) projects going on, I've been taking a temporary break from selling. I've also been attending a weekly open studio at an art center near my house, making a series of beaded artist trading cards, and also a series of monochromatic beaded earrings (not as boring as it sounds!).

I've scheduled new adventures in teaching this year -- Oakland in April and ongoing local classes this summer. Lots of fun preparation to do. Hours of it, actually. I may be warped, but I actually LIKE creating the handouts...

Lately I've been gathering up some links to beadwork-related blogs that I see posted on various lists I belong to. Here are a few of my favorites, that beadlings and others are sure to enjoy!

• Beadlust -- Robin Atkins's blog. Robin is a teacher and author whose blog is both chatty and visually rich.
• Bead Line Studios -- Judith Bertoglio-Giffin's blog. Judith is an all-around bead artist who loves bead crochet especially. Read her latest entries on buying beads in Tucson.
• No Easy Beads -- I am completely in love with Bev Herman's work and always have been!
