Most Recent Posts Wa-hey..... Back againPosted May-27-08 13:43:35 PDT Updated May-27-08 13:44:35 PDT After several months without a shop on ebay I have decided to re-open a store and get stuck in. To be honest, this is mainly due to my son ( have you read my other posts? I must have mentioned him before.) he has decided to clear out yet more of his over-large CD collection and guess where he came to get him the best value. Well... have you ever tried to get a decent price from a dealer for a bulk sale. So dear old dad (moi!) has agreed to try and raise a few pennies from the good folks who shop at ebay. In all fairness, this does give me a kick up the proverbial to start selling my artwork again. Nothing in the old shop yet, but I will be stocking with a range of paintings and aceo collages, CD's, books and other saleable items as they become available. And not to forget my aceo paintings, inexpensive and collectable works of art - start your own collection today Thats enough of the adverts. The soundtrack is actually something I knocked up using a piece of software called SFacid which uses samples to provide music tracks, A portfolio of portrait and life sketches Next post will definately be the next instalment of my strategy and planning for my ebay shop, despite the above setbacks. ACEO UK Group - theme week competitionPosted May-06-07 10:09:54 PDT Updated May-06-07 11:10:09 PDT Just a little advertising for the ACEO UK Group and their restarted, theme week competition. Each month, the first sunday of the month the group posts ACEO paintings on a themed subject which has been voted for by the members. The first competition last month was on the subject of FOOLS. This month the subject is flowers, if you search ebay with the tags: aceo uk flowers you will find all the enties. entries may be identified with this banner, but it is optional. My own entry for the competition is (with a little artist's licence) entitled BEARING FLOWERS
