Most Recent Posts Chapter 2 in "Threats from Sellers"Posted Jan-30-08 16:00:29 PST Well fabulousway2dobusiness has now resorted to sending me empty plastic bags with a delivery confirmation and when that didn't work he sent me a bag of cheap plastic stones and beads with a delivery confirmation. Not quite the 400 Swarovski flat back crystals that I had ordered! It's now over a month and I am still waiting for resolution to this problem. I sell on ebay also however my sales are purely for fun. Business sellers like this NEED to be held accountable for mean behavior and not living up to their part of the bargin. Now that ebay has made new requirements for Power Sellers does anyone feel this will address problems from sellers like fabulousway2dobusiness or do you think it will protect them more? Threats from sellersPosted Jan-10-08 05:36:22 PST I have experienced a first in ebay - a threatening seller! I received the following email when one of the sellers I am working with got angry because after waiting two weeks to receive my items I filed a dispute. "you very lucky - your order wsas shipped yesterday. if i see no cancelation of your fake claim i will give you 3 negatives and email every single seller you are bidding with not to do business with you as yo ufile fake phony claims. looks and smells like a thief !" I find it amazing to see such anger in someone when they made no contact with their buyer for 14 days after payment was received. I've had disputes filed against me as a seller when only 7 days had passed and while it's frustrating as a seller I understand a buyers concerns. That is why ebay has set up the dispute process and set up the number of days before anything can be filed. Has anyone else run into someone like this? Non-Pay Bidders leave negative feeback for SellerPosted Oct-02-07 15:37:44 PDT I really feel that ebay needs to revisit their feedback policies. I had an auction where the winning bidder did not pay. While he emailed me several times telling me his brother must have placed the bid, and he offered to buy something else, I had no items for sale at the time and told him that he needed to contact ebay about bid retraction. That once an auction was closed he was responsible to pay. Well he didn't and I filed a non-pay bidder dispute and received my FVF. I also filed a non-pay bidder strike against the buyer. All this got me was a negative feedback left by him and the destruction of my previous 100% positive feedback. Feedback has become a joke when sellers have to fear leaving a truthful feedback because they will receive an unfair negative feedback. How do others feel about this? Both buyers and sellers comments welcome please. |
