This is the first for me...to be in bed for four days.

I did manage to get out a couple of times for the  grocery store and the estate sale next door and went straight back to bed.

The house of course has not been touched since Monday, had to spend some of this day cleaning and getting beds changed. 

I am tipping a hot toddy and going back to bed....or recliner...

This is the worst cold....if it is not gone by Monday I am going to the Dr.  

I have been sick all week and sleeping most of the day and night, bad cold, a lot of congestion. I think the worst is behind me.  Today was better and I at least could go outside for a little bit this evening. 

  The neighbors have been a real  blessing here, they  brought food and checked on us....never had that happen before, it is nice to live where people actually care about you. 

It is possible that Stan is coming down with it now, he is getting croupie...

Hope this finds everyone ok, see that has been more drama on the blogs.

Beautiful sunrise from the mountians north of us....took this morning.

Come and have coffee on the front porch.

Found out that we did not win....THE GARDEN OF THE SEASON AWARD.

and that is ok, we finished up what we needed to for our own sake.  They said if the back yard had been in the front yard, so that it could be seen  from the road that we would have won....

But, as you know I figured we would not win....have no idea who won as of yet, but I think it will be someone from the big Island where all of the expensive homes are.

YAAAAY...now this is behind us, just have to face my neighbor who thought so highly of me and the yard...lol. 

She is real sick...and of course I am worried since she is a  go getter and never gets really down.  I think she has acute exhauston along with a cold

Thanks to all of  you that supported my garden deal...appreciate all of your kinds words.

The garden has been judged, we spent the weekend getting it ready and doing the weeding.  Seems like the weed grew overnight in most of the places that I had already weeded. 

I am not sure how they felt about the yard, except that they were overwhelmed, and just looking at the thousands of rocks that we moved impressed them.  As for knowing all of the names of the flowers...heck I never can remember all of them, but I did ok on what I did know. 

The garden is full of  wild flowers that have grown in, and it has been interesting, some are  so beautiful, and I was of course clueless. 

So, now it is over and that is always kinda of a  let down, since we were so geared to getting it ready.  Now I can get back to doing housework and getting my ebay built up for the holidays.

It is a beautiful day here...

We worked in the yard for several hours...getting the last minute things done...will do the last of it tonight...and most likely get up very early so it all looks fresh.

For those of you that don't know, we are being judged for garden of the season.  Not sure we are even in the running since there are some homes in the million dollar range out here where we live...we are  on the lower end of the totem pole. ...

I will post pictures here later today.

Long day, did not get all that I wanted done....

Still have to tackle this room...the ebay room from hell....

Seems like this room is the last to get done...and the one that needs it the most.

I just came in from working in the yard, it was almost dark and had rained earlier, a strange color...very relaxing. 

Getting the last of the weeds up...and checking to see if it all looks cared for.  On Monday they will come and judge the yard...never have done this before.  Fortunately everything is up and blooming.  I have a cottage type yard with flowers  growing in no  particular order in most places. 

This is the one year mark for this garden and it is abundant with plants.  I have never seen anything grow like it does here. 

Well, I guess I better get my chores done and get back here later to do some listing...

Have been so busy that I have not had time to blog...sending ((((hugs)))) to everyone.

Been another long day....finished the ironing....that is a good thing.

Played golf...it was awful.

Helped a friend with her photo program...that was a desaster...not sure she learned much.

Going to bed now...

Been a long day,

I ironed all morning and did laundry, did a bible study class, watered the church garden, walked for an hour, came home and decided I was miserable and might be getting a cold. 

Folded laundry, took nap...then weeded a bit more of the yard, cooked dinner (fried chicken, potatoes, salad and home made biscuits and gravy).

Finally I did some listings and a bit of spamming. 

Think I have done enough for today...
