it is sooo painful

if i have learned anything from having my mom die literally in my arms that night- is that for goodness sake- and your own sanity... dont take your loved ones for granted.

 how i wish i had the time back that i squandered while mom was here with us. how i wish i had known id only have 2 short years with her after katrina  took her place and she moved in with us.

 unless you have had it happen to you, you will never never know how terribly painful and heart breaking it is to lose your mother.

even if she irritates you or whatever- dont ever leave her or treat her like dirt- because it will haunt you for the rest of your life.

 i thank the lord for the time i did have with mom.

there really is no replacement for a wonderful mother like i had.

beautiful post that's so true--I thank god for my mom and dad everyday. They did well, and I remember the little lessons they used to tell me and oh how true they are

god bless you

So sorry for your loss(((hugs))) I bet there were some great memories too! Try and concentrate on those!
My mom is going thru something like that with my grandmother. She visits enough and even goes and cleans her house and mows the grass to take care of her, but it's always woe is me with her! Extremely hard to take. God Bless you and give you strength!

VERY well said Shellgift. I lost my Mom over a year ago and I couldn't have said it better. I am the baby of my family and since I was my Moms last we had a close relationship. I still cry at the drop of a hat .... I wonder if I will ever get over it and not feel this way. Prayers to you for God Speed healing.

God Bless you.
You loved her.
You shared your home as she had hers with you.
Love knows its own; she knew ; still does.
God gave you to her as a gift.
Then for years she came to youas a gift.

No-one except God knows the loss.
The Bible says spirits go on ; I know this is true.
My mom went as well.
Think of new reasons why it is myfault al the time.

Asked a eighbor when it would stop ;
in her late 80's lost her parents , husband ;
shedid not lie;
she said it never will.
She did not mean do not live ; opposit- live - do things ; when you are together again-you will be- have lots of adentures to
tell her.
She can know through Heaven but you are here
Have fun; the earth is full of lovliness.
Embrase life.
Be a light of love to those around yu.

Gods Blessings to you shell.
And ine.
