I know this is a good thing but I have SO much inventory to get listed! My local source has been having outstanding prices lately so I've been in buying mode. My office has piles of clothing and I'm taking so much time sorting and entering the items into an inventory spreadsheet that I haven't had time to list! I need to do some research to see if Back to School lots are starting to sell...

I didn't get a chance to blog last night because we went out to eat with some friends to celebrate a 40th birthday and the birthday boy wasn't too happy about turning 40!!! We gave him a humorous "Life Is Crap" t-shirt because we knew that's how he was feeling :)

Anyhoo, I didn't get too many things listed yesterday but I did spend a majority of my ebay work hours sorting through children's clothes to prepare Back-To-School lots. BTS sales should be kicking in soon and I am hoping that a lot of people will be turning to ebay this year to do their shopping in the hope of saving on gas!!! I have some great jeans' lots that I will be listing in the upcoming weeks. I've stocked up on jeans during the off-season and stored them in plastic bins in my attic so they should all be ready to go!

As for today, I mailed 4 packages out and have completed two listings. I suppose I should sign-off for now and get back to picture-taking!

I'm back to TRYING to work my 9-to-5, Monday through Friday "offically" ebay hours, which is really difficult to do considering my husband, son and daughter are all home on summer vacation. My husband is a school teacher so during the summer, we are all home together :) It's great because we are a close family but it makes it hard for me to concentrate on my business. I did get cleaned up first thing this morninng and started right at 9 a.m. I mailed out 4 packages then took pictures 16 and listed 13 of those items including jeans and shorts. I then checked my "Treasure Chest" schedule and today is one of the cheap days  ($2 bag sale) so I headed out there for some deals. I picked up 20 items to sell (mostly jeans and some kids' things for lots). Then I went and helped out in the church clothes' closet until 5. I figure if I "take off work" early to do God's work, I'll be ok :) I was pretty much done with my ebaying for the day after returning home but then I read a blog about how blogging could help your business and I decided to revisit this blog I created 2 years ago!

Anyway, writing this blog AND working 9-to-5 is going to take discipline and that's something I'm not very good at it. I'm trying to be more disciplined in all area's of my life...ebaying, money, time, organization, etc. I think I'll pray about it and then decide what I need to get done tomorrow. Good night! 

Today is the perfect eBay day! It is raining off and on here and we have nowhere to go so I am spending my day at the computer, listing ~ like I should be!!! :)  I have already listed 5 items (my goal is to list 5 items daily) and I'm off to take more pictures! I've whined in my last two posts that sales have been slow in the last week but I do see some encouraging signs today. Praise God!

In my last post, I asked if anyone has used Marketplace Research and how it has worked for them. I didn't get any responses back so I'm going to throw it out there again. Has anyone used Marketplace Research, what information have you gleaned from it and how has it helped your sales? Thanks in advance and I look forward to reading your comments.

I seem to be having a LACKof MOTIVATION today in regards to eBay. I think it is because sales seem so slow and I can't get psyched to list if I know (or think) they won't sell. (Plus, it doesn't help that my entire family is outside having fun and I'm sitting in here...) As I mentioned in my last post, sales have been EXTREMELY slow as of late and I was hoping today would pick up but ....! I've even been researching what has been selling well and that hasn't seemed to help. I actually signed up for the Marketplace Research Fastpass a couple of days ago. I really enjoyed using it and seeing what items sold and for how much. Has anyone else been using this? I would love to hear of anyone's success stories :)

Anyway, I have managed to list a few things today and will continue to hope that my Abercrombie items (the top search in all Men's, Women's, Boy's and Girl's categories) will SELL, SELL, SELL! :)
