After eBay made some changes to the Blog site, some of you are seeing a broken title at the top, or no title at all. Some different workarounds were added to the Styler tool, and I'd like to see a few test runs to see how it works with some of your different schemes. If you have added a stylesheet to your blog any time in the past year and notice that the title bar only goes halfway across because of the orange RSS icon, then you need a stylesheet patch. You can patch your blog stylesheet by adding the red codes to your advanced customization settings. If you don't know where to find your settings, post back here an I'll include more instructions. I changed the patch on Feb 24 because this one seems to work better. I'm just running out the door, but I wanted to let everyone know that there was a minor update to the Blog Styler 2 days ago that should fix the broken titles at the top of some blogs. had posted a patch
on my blog some months ago that you can use instead of making a new stylesheet. The patch is now
incorporated into the BlogStyler tool. You will need to create a
new stylesheet with the tool to see the changes or you can use the code patch.

I shot this partially eclipsed moon a couple of years ago with my cheap fuji A205 eBay camera pressed against a telescope. The camera was set to automatic and there was plenty of reflected moonlight to do the job; and of course, I had to remain hopelessly still. But amazingly, the shot came off.  Unfortunately, the full-stage red eclipse could not be captured with the digital camera's built-in shutter speeds, as it was too dark. A manual shutter-speed override would have been needed to get the shot, and my eBay camera didn't have that kind of control. There are now cheaper cameras on the market that DO allow manual control of the shutter speed and other settings that would allow capturing the red moon with a digital camera on a tripod. isdntek site is almost up - BlogStyler, Quick*sell, spam, etcPosted Feb-09-08 19:45:59 PST Updated Feb-09-08 19:49:09 PST The site is almost up again. It turns out the ISP lost both the server and the backup drive when the system crashed due to a freaky power anomaly.  So, they gave me some space on a new server and I've spent most the day reconstructing the site with most of the popular tools and template graphics. The Blog Styler is running on the new space. The Quick*sell (spam) gallery and the X*sell auction gallery both require some server features that aren't available yet on their new server, and I've redirected those links to a different website for a few days.  It's a slower site, so if you have difficulty getting your gallery items to appear, reload the page. I've found that seems to help.The ISP is trying to recover the data on the crashed disk, and is aiming for Monday. If they are successful in recovering the lost data, then we'll switch back to the original server. If they are unsuccessful, then I will continue rebuilding the site, and that could take several more days.
