EMPIRE Blow Mold Nativity w Box Christmas Yard Light

Another one my sister sent me.

"I bet you didn't know this stuff (hollow plastic light up) has a name - BLOW MOLD - is that because it is so old you have to blow the mold off it from your garage?"

She's right - I never knew this stuff had a name.

I guess it's along the same lines as blown glass, just plastic?

I've worked in a few plastic plants and they have Blow Mold machines that make stuff like that.

I figured it was something like that. But considering some of the blow mold holiday decorations I've seen, I think my sister may have a good point:-)

Got alot of blow mold stuff myself!! LOL!!!!
Too bad hubby can't stand to part with any of it! Half the time I don't think he even knows he has half of it!
