Next Ebay Boycott will be May 1st 2008

I guess the new feedback policy starts May 1st.  May Day! May Day! I am trying to clear out my stock.  I won't be selling after April 30th.  I left two Negative feedbacks yesterday for non payment of items.  I won't be able to do that in May.  Please feel free to join the second boycott.  I think this one will be even bigger as we have more time to organize and prepare for it.  The most powerful thing you can do as a seller until then is stop taking paypal, as paypal has stated they are going to withold sellers funds for 21 days in some instances.  They make money on those funds, and they expect the seller to go ahead and ship the item in that 21 day period.  I know many sellers will not do that, and many of us are closing our paypal accounts.

Largest Meat Recall In History

What do you suppose is going to happen to all the recalled meat?  Sure hope they arn't planning on making more pet food out of it!

I Will Wait For You

My buyers will wait for me.  They will come find me.  We have a genuine karmic meeting!  I marvel at out next meeting.

I

BOYCOTT WEEK

20 cent listing fees for one day only.  That would overlap with the boycott.  Nice try Ebay, but I won't be tricked.  I will be using the day to do 3 day auctions only and hopefully sell my overstock in time for the February 18-25 boycott.  Good luck everyone.

Opportunity during Boycott

Opportunity during Boycott Week

Those of us leaving February 18-20
  1. We can go back through our sales and leave feedback for repeat buyers (because now the whole score will count) This is a positive opportunity out of the recent policy changes.
  2. We can use all our old invoices to construct a mailing list to contact our loyal customers and let them know how we apprecialte their business and where they can find us NOW.

Life After Ebay

According to an article by Lenora Chu for February 7th CNN Fortune.  Ebay sellers are leaving in droves since the announcement of the new policy changes.  I have been frantically trying to find another place to sell my Fiestaware and am planning on leaving Ebay on February 20th.  I will be listing right up until February 13th, allowing 7 days for my auctions to end.
According to this article a on line auction place is claiming 7,500 new sellers that are what they are calling ebay refugees.  Another site e Crater claims 1,400 new sellers...since the policy changes were announced.  I am hoping my faithful customers will seek me out when I move.  Please contact me for furthur details.  Thanks so much for your business and good luck to everyone seeking new horizons.

Get Fiesta deals while you still can

I will posting Fiestaware right up till the 13th of February.  Please contact me for more detailed information as to where I will be moving my auctions.

February 13th Last Day to List before the Boycott

February 13th will be my last listing day for Fiesta and Collectibles.  Thank you to all my loyal customers and repeat buyers.  The unofficial boycott begins the 18th, but I feel my exit will register the strongest on February 20th when the new policy about final value fees goes into effect.
