I bought a Dymo Datemark Stamper.  Ebay item number 270232393244.   The seller claim it is a brand new sealed item and also the it was listed as new, so I think there should not be any problem.  But when I received it in the afternoon of May 7th, I found out what I got is an open-packaged, used, dirty, nonfunctional datemark.  It's outrageous!! I immedately contacted seller "elaine1907" asking for return instruction and refund.

The following is the screen catch of the messsage exchange between me (skysunder) and seller (elaine1907) soon after I found out what I received is a piece of junk.  It's absolutely outrageous that he claim I took the new one away!!  I am speechless!! 


Seller is such a scammer.  I immediately set up a paypal dispute trying to get my money.  The following is the screen catch of paypal complain.  please pay attention to the underlined sentence.  He said what 's on ebay listing photo was what he shipped out.  that's good.  I am going to show you in the later part of this article that the photo itself has already told me it's an open package.  I feel regreted that I didn't pay attention to the listing while I am bidding on it.  As you know, I really trust the descripton of  being "NEW".


Seller accused me of switching the new item away and trying to send old one back!! Oh my GOD!! Just for about $30 dollars!!!  Oh my GOD.  I am speechless. 

Fortunately I have an digital camera and the ebay product photo is still available.  In the following section  I am going to show you the package was opened before it was shipped out. 








It's good that seller acknowledge that the item on the pic is the one he shippd out.   hehe, but the photo itself on ebay tells us that it's open-packaged item.  The following pics will show  you how dirty the item is!!  I am really speechless.....





You will be amazed by what you are going to see next.  I received the package at 15:08 PM on May 7th.  Within 2 hours, while I was still emailing him, he already gave me a negative feedback on ebay!!! accusing of demanding money order from him!!  Oh, my Almighty.  I was speechless again!!!

Again, actually the seller lied already while he listed the items.  he claims "the item pictured is guaranteed to be the actual item you will receive."  That's totally a lie because he used the same pic on ebay item 270231763843 too (sold on May-01 16:07) , even same weblink "http://i4.ebayimg.com/03/i/000/ec/39/9e25_1.JPG"  How could he sell one same item to two different person.  He is a lazy scammer.  haha...

If you could finish reading the whole blog, I am pretty sure you will have some clue who is lying there.   I sincerely hope ebay could found out this scam and give me the full refund and suspend the seller account.

Just some addition info:
This pic will show you how a brand new DYMO DateMark look like (ebay Item number: 280220928687).  Another very important point is how could the LED screen be " on"as shown by seller's image  if the package is sealed and the item is brand new!!!
