Most Recent Posts My New BlogsPosted Aug-13-08 02:54:00 PDT Updated Aug-13-08 03:01:28 PDT Blogs are interesting tools I think. I decided to set up a couple on Blogger and see how they do. One is for my website and one is about my interests in model railroading. Yes , I know its a strange hobby for a woman but I have had a train setup since I was a child. My blog 'Queen Of Steam' tells how I became involved with model railroading. The URL is **http://queenofsteam.blogspot.comm/ **. The URL for my wesite blog is **http://3rivertrading.blogspot.comm/** . I welcome you comments and suggestions on either and hope you will bookmark them for future visits. If you are a model railroader, especially in HO, add your interests to my comment list and add pics of your layout and consists. I hope to make it an interesting place to visit. And please vistit my website. I am a struggling entreprenuer and would be greatly appreciative of your support. Also take a look at my eBay auctions. I am offering most items at greatly reduced prices. TIA Website update!Posted Aug-10-08 11:57:40 PDT Updated Aug-10-08 12:01:17 PDT IT"S UP!! Or at least mostly up. They forgot some of the departments and there is a few glitches in the modification programs. I can't change any of the colors or arrange the columns. I did, somehow, get my PayPal logo to take. :)) After I found out how to shrink it!! I want the feel of it to portray the trader life along a jungle river. Like in the movie 'African Queen' with Humphry Bobart. A few snakes hanging from limbs, crocodiles along the river bank, natives with speers trying to kill you.... ok NO natives! (Shivers) OH, and please look at my eBay items. I have some of products from the store at auction for half price. And if any of you bloggers want to see something in particular, let me know and I'll put it out for bid or on my site. Later... P.S. Visit me at **www.3rivertrading.comm** New WebsitePosted Aug-08-08 07:10:13 PDT Updated Aug-10-08 12:01:00 PDT I will have a new shopping website on-line August 28, 2008. Visit it @ ***www.3rivertrading.comm***. We are building it now. Needless to say, I'm excited. I owe a debt of gatitude to several people who have supported and advised me in this endeavor. Sandra Erlings, Taylor McKey, James Nash, and Olivia Martinez. Their help has been most appreciated. Thank you all! I hope you will take a monent to visit my website and check out my humble offerings. Your comments and suggestions would be most welcome. Come visit!! August 28, 08. Be there! ObservationPosted Jul-07-08 18:48:28 PDT It amazes me how so many bidders buy items without a clue as to what the retail price is. Yes, I know many items arent so readily available retail, but many are. I saw a bidder buy an item for $37.00 more than he could buy it retail. And even cheaper at some of the discount stores. I would suggest that you know what you can buy it for first before you shoot yourself in the foot. Pricewise that is! Display CasesPosted Jun-26-08 15:18:35 PDT Updated Jun-26-08 15:35:12 PDT For those of you who enjoy displaying your prize collections, may I suggest 'Display Cases, Cabinets & Racks'. You can find them @ http://stores.ebay.com/Display-Cases-Cabinets-and-Racks on eBay. I bought one for my HO locomotives and I am very please with the cases. They have them for many small collectables like shot glasses and golf balls plus others. They are well made, come in various wood grains and they are fairly lite. Check them out! Just my (non-gratus) $.02. :) |
