I just got done creating my account about an hour and a half ago. I have looked and seen so much in the last hour and a half of a truly amazed on everything this site has offered. I am trying to figure out the whole process of purchasing or selling stuff on eBay. I've read several of them post blogs to has suggestions on selling things on eBay but haven't been able to be too much of a following things on eBay. I am concerned on getting ripped off by some fraudulent seller. IM worried about the actual quality of some of these used products. I can used any good suggestions on how to protect on eBay so I can have a good experience. Always seems like there are lots of people with experience but I've read a couple blogs that had some horrifying experiences. In a little scared to do any e-commerce business out here. But I am truly amazed with the site. If anyone has any suggestions take you to me I would be greatly appreciated

hiya and welcome to ebay :o) for starters it is really a good idea to set up a PayPal account if you haven't already. It is totally free and is the safest means of paying and accepting payments through. Also for buying always check the sellers feedback before purchasing anything and be sure to ask any questions you may have before doing so as well. For selling you really want to start out by building your feedback up by buying small inexpensive items and doing research on items that you might be interested in selling, this is so you can get a sense if it is a wanted item and can give you an idea on what the going price is for it :o)

For selling to research use completed listings pay atention times & dates that people auction and that item matches. As for buying there are a lot of good sellers right here on the blogs and we do someting called penny ante so it is easy to pick up something inexpensive. jpsoaps4u gave you real good advice always check feedback& get paypal.

Yes set up a Paypal account. That way you are protected as a buyer if you do not receive a item or it is not as described. Start buying small. Be careful of vague descriptions. Also ask questions before you bid. If you are looking for used, anything in Excellent Condition should not have "ANY" significant flaws. Read the feedback even the positive. I just learned this lesson myself. If it says "Not what I expected" "Took really long time" pay attention. Sometimes people leave bad feedback alot so also check the feedback of the person who left it. If the person who left it "ALWAYS" leaves bad feedback it is probably the buyer & not the seller. Hope it Helps!
