Hey Guys!!!

Just wanted to give a little update. We will be opening a new store in Madison, CT. The doors should be open on Monday, August 6th. That is the day after the soundRUNNER Sea Legs Shuffle, which anyone that can should run. The location the shop is right next door to R.J. Julia bookstore.  It looks amazing...they did the final coat on the floor two days ago and the final touches on paint today. Hope some of you can come out to see us.

Hey guys!!!

It has been busy around here and I am now getting a chance to sit down and tell you about my first race experience. It was one of the races that we sponsor too, which was cool. I only started running about 3 months ago and decided to make this race the one. It turned out to be a 5 miler in 85 degree weather...a hot one. We had record setting numbers as far as attendance. 1,550 running and 2,400, in total, participating in the 5 mile road race, 2 mile fitness walk and the 1 mile fun run! Our beginning running group went out and ran their first race, which I was part of. We are very proud of every one of them. Many of our runners established PR's for this race, which was also very exciting. Along the course I took every water stop they threw at us and ran under ever hose, which I regreted by the end of the race. The course was very beautiful. It runs through scenic route 146, along Long Island Sound for a little stretch, and back into the town center of Branford.

Our next race is the Guilford Sea Legs Shuffle on August 5th. Please come out if you can! There is more information at our website, www.soundrunner.net. You can also register online at www.jbsports.com. The first 500 to register get a technical t-shirt.
