Recipe: Spinach DipPosted Aug-25-06 10:40:18 PDT Ingredients: 1/2 cup spinach (fresh or thawed and drained frozen) 1 package of dry vegetable soup mix 2 finely chopped scallions 1 cup chopped water chestnuts 1 cup mayonaisse (the real stuff works best, but feel free to substitute if you wish) 1 cup sour cream Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving it. Goes great with pumpernickel bread, but could also be used for chips and other breads.
